We invite all singers to give us a try. In place of an audition, we encourage you instead to attend a few practices at the beginning of our fall or spring seasons to assess your own fit with the musical selections and level of difficulty with the four-part harmonies. If you are unsure about which part to sing and your ability to sing it, we provide you with the opportunity to consult with our artistic director who will gladly help you find your voice.
Our 2026 Season “All the way home” began January 6th, 2026 & will culminate in a concert performance May 23rd. All are welcome to reach out & find a place in our choir for this season or next.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, from 7:15 – 9:30pm.
Located at:
Woodcliff United Church
5120 Spruce Dr. SW
The Calgary Multicultural Choir is a welcoming, friendly community of choristers who love the opportunity to share the joy of singing and performing authentic music that reflects languages, cultures and countries from around the world.
Starting in 1979 with a handful of enthusiasts, we are committed to, and love, singing for Calgarians at community events. From our bi-annual concerts to residents in senior living facilities, and elsewhere; including the Calgary Airport where we surprise international arrivals with our unique brand of choral music, the CMCC delights in sharing our passion for song. Whenever we can, we travel to music festivals such as Canada’s Unisong Choral Festival that celebrates Canada Day in Ottawa with representative choirs from each region across our nation.
One of our core values is continuous learning – from vocal techniques, to new musical compositions, to languages that are unfamiliar to us. We participate annually in Choral Fest Alberta where evaluators provide us with tips to improve our sound plus each season, we invite a professional clinician to lead us in a day of workshops.
